LPS Christmas Newsletter

We are finally at the end of the long winter term. Staff and pupils have earned their Christmas break and are ready for some much needed rest and relaxation.

Many thanks again to all the parents and carers who took time out of their busy pre-Christmas week to join us in our Christmas sing-a-song at St Andrew’s Parish Church. Singing together is a real act of community and it was the first time in a long time since we have been able to do such a thing together. Many thanks again to Minister Rob Mackenzie for letting us use the church to do this.

Here are a few photos of some of the other festive activities:

Final Book of Recognition 2022

Ali Primary 1aAli has been trying hard to think of ways to be kind and helpful in the class. He has been sharing his skills with others by reading books to them, helping them sound out words when writing, and he helped another child with their drawing. Well done Ali!
IvyPrimary 2/3Ivy has pulled out all the stops with her reading and is making really good progress!  She has been practising more at home and challenging herself to be more confident, when sounding out new words in class.  Well done Ivy, you’re doing a great job!
BlakePrimary 3Blake is always a great help in our classroom and has been particularly kind and helpful to our newest member of the class, well done Blake.
