Rayyan Zeeshan | Primary 1a | Rayyan has been working really hard this week to make friends with new people. He was spotted on several occasions this week letting new people join in with his games and always uses kind words. |
Omer Ahmad | Primary 1b | Omer shows kindness and respect to his classmates everyday. He is always one of the first people in the class to offer to do jobs and if a door needs to be held, Omer seems to magically appear from nowhere and is ready to hold it with a big smile on his face. We really value your kindness in our class Omer. Thank you! |
Freya | Primary 2a | Freya has been a polite, helpful and considerate pupil this week. Playing kindly with others, supporting them and taking on roles within the classroom responsibly. Well done 🙂 |
Kieran Gilgun | Primary 2b | Kieran has been extremely helpful by tidying up our room and has been patient and waiting his turn. He has been sharing our resources too! |
Maya Kaur | Primary 3a | Maya is always kind and considerate towards her classmates and staff. Well done Maya, you are a good example to others! |
Taisia | Primary 3b | Taisia is kind to all of her classmates and not just her friends. She often helps others with their learning and when she sees someone in need she goes over to help. |
Amber | Primary 4a | Amber was nominated by her peers for letting others join in and play with her, helping others when they needed help or were hurt and helping them in the classroom with their learning. |
Oran | Primary 4a | Oran is kind during motor skills group and always compliments others when they do well 🙂 Miss Ciechanowicz |
Callum Robertson | Primary 4b | One of Callum’s classmates nominated Callum for supporting them when they were hurt. Thank you Callum for being so kind! |
Zara Cowie | Primary 5 | Zara recognised (unprompted) that it was Ms Ogbekene’s first full day of teaching and congratulated her at the end of the day. |
Lewis Granger | Primary 6a | Lewis noticed that someone was on their own in the playground and asked if they were ok. He often demonstrates little acts of kindness like this which is lovely. |
Heidi | Primary 6b | Heidi has been supporting and helping her classmates consistently since the beginning of this year. She gets her table organised and supports others in being ready, as well as often looking out for others when they are feeling down. Well done Heidi! |
Dawn Taylor-Dale | Primary 7a | For showing many acts of kindness, both large and small, over the course of the week. Dawn has shown herself to be a steadfast, loyal and caring friend. Well done! |
Harry Fraser | Primary 7b | Harry noticed that another pupil was upset and immediately went over to see if he could help. He listened to him and then passed on information (with his agreement) to the teacher so that he could be helped. Very kind, supportive and sensible. |

Well Done to Our First Pupils Recognised for Their Kindness This Week

Poppy Mackie | Primary 1a | Poppy shows kindness to everyone within the class, and this week has been trying to include other children in her games, making sure no one feels left out. |
Alex Beech | Primary 1b | Alex tries to spread a little bit of kindness in our school everyday. He always smiles and says hello to people he meets around the school. It may seem like a small act of kindness but this can make a huge difference to somebody’s day. Thank you, Alex! |
Henry | Primary 2a | A situation arose in class with Henry and another pupil in which Henry made a really caring, considerate and kind gesture. When handing out free books to take home, Henry had chosen a book which he was really interested in. Another boy was really upset as he wanted that book. Henry saw the boy and said ‘He can have my book and I shall choose another, I just want to see him happy.’ He then handed the boy his book and happily chose another. It was a very lovely gesture and super nice to see. Well done Henry. |
Annabelle Kennedy | Primary 2b | Annabelle can always suggest ways to help children in the class share and solve disagreements peacefully. She recognises kindness in others and nominates them for awards. She helps her friends when they are upset. She always knows how to put a smile on Ms Stewart’s face with her kind words and actions! |
Megan Andrew | Primary 3a | Megan shows kindness towards her classmates and to staff everyday. She always has a smile on her face and kind words to say. Well done Megan, you’re a Bucket-filler and a great example to everyone! |
Adrita | Primary 3b | Adrita often shows kindness towards her classmates. This week she has helped another pupil with his reading and writing and she told a classmate she would be his friend when he was feeling sad. Adrita absolutely deserves this kindness award! |
Isla | Primary 4a | Isla was nominated by her classmates for caring for others when they are hurt and for standing up for others and being a good friend. |
Rikki-Leigh | Primary 4b | Rikki-Leigh is always kind to others in her group and is also kind and helpful to her teacher. |
Maddison Campbell | Primary 4b | Maddison regularly volunteers to help Mr Cochrane tidy up after lunch so our classroom is ready for our afternoon activities. Thank you Maddison for being so helpful, thoughtful and KIND! |
Kayla Gatti | Primary 5 | Kayla was extremely kind to Emilia when she was upset. It was Kayla’s first day back, so happy to see her back and being her usual kind self. |
Jessica Alcock | Primary 6a | This week Jessica has helped support others in her group with their learning. She demonstrated lots of patience and understanding. |
Charlotte | Primary 6b | Charlotte has been very kind and supportive of another member in our class who has had a hard week. She also shows kindness on a daily basis to her peers in the class. Well done Charlotte. |
Forbes Smith | Primary 7a | Making sure that everyone in the class was happy in the playground. Asking children on their own if they were ok and wanted to join in with his game. It showed real maturity and thoughtfulness. Well done – what a great example to set Forbes – you should be very proud of yourself! |
